Congratulations to this year's winner of the Grafton Blues Challenge, Sue DaBaco & Wise Fools. Hounds Tooth had a great time performing and the Grafton Blues Association put on an awesome event. Thanks to everyone who came out and supported us and all the local blues musicians. We wish Sue DaBaco and Wise Fools all the best as they compete in the International Blues Challenge (IBC) in Memphis in 2009!

Top Blues Artists at Shank Hall - Friday, April 25th
Two Award Winning Blues Bands will be making their debut at Shank Hall this week. 2008 WAMI Nominee Hounds Tooth and 2008 Triple WAMI Nominee Alex Wilson will pack a 1-2 punch of the best in modern blues on Friday, April 25th at 8 pm. These two bands have taken some of the top awards locally including:
- Best Blues Band 2007, Shepherd Express - Alex Wilson Band
- Best Female Vocalist 2007, Shepherd Express - Jamie Brace of Hounds Tooth
- 2007 WAMI Best Blues Group/Artist - Alex Wilson Band
- Best Blues Band 2006, Shepherd Express - Hounds Tooth

Brink Lounge - April 18th; Shank Hall Tickets
Hounds Tooth is making it's Madison debut this Friday at The Brink Lounge. The Brink Lounge is Madison’s new upscale wine & martini bar, coffee house, and nightclub. The Brink is featuring some of the best regional artists and top blues players from around the Midwest. Special Guest - New York Saxophonist Tom Barnett will be joining us for our show at The Brink Lounge. Tom Barnett has played nationally with recent Grammy winners Toots & the Maytalls; Michael Wolf Band (house band for The Arsenio Hall Show); Luther Allison; Clyde Stubblefield and many more.

Hounds Tooth returns for another soul rockin' good time at this established live music venue in lake country. The Nashotah Clubhouse has live music every weekend with no cover charge. They have an amazing menu and they have a great Friday Fish Fry.
