Summerfest - June 30th - 4 pm Potawatomi Stage

Hounds Tooth makes its debut at the World's Largest Music Festival, Summerfest, on Monday, June 30th at 4 pm on the Potawatomi Stage. Hounds Tooth will be shooting some video at Summerfest and would love to have all our fans out and dancing like crazy as we plan to include plenty of audience shots in our upcoming video. The Potwatomi Stage on Monday will be featuring some of the top Native American and Blues Bands including Wade Fernandez, Wayne Baker Brooks, and headliner Indigenous with Hounds Tooth kicking everything off at 4 pm.

Dean's Milk & Ice Cream, Sentry Foods and TODAY'S TMJ4 Children's Fest Day is Monday, June 30. All patrons arriving between Noon and 3:00 pm will be admitted free!

Also, you catch Miss Jamie Brace on Sunday, June 29th at Chick Singer Night at 4:30 pm on the Potawatomi Stage.

On Friday, June 27th - International touring Chicago Blues Artist Dave Weld and The Imperial Flames will be performing at the Lil' Downtown Lounge. Dave Weld and The Imperial Flames have toured extensively in the US and internationally playing many of the top blues festivals. They have shared the stage with some of the greats in blues including: Koko Taylor, Hubert Sumlin, Otis Rush, Lil' Ed Williams, Lonnie Brooks, and Little Milton. Hounds Tooth will be opening the show at 8:30 pm and Dave Weld will take the stage at 9:30 pm.

Limited tickets are available and can be purchased at the Lil Downtown Lounge or by calling 414.257.3592. They are also available online. All ticketholders will be entered in a drawing to win a pair of Summerfest tickets and other prizes.

We were only able to play 3 songs at the St. Robert Parish Fair on Saturday due to rain and tornado warnings - but we will be back indoors this week at one of Milwaukee's newest live music venues - Liquor Sweets at 3000 S. 13th Street. Liquor Sweets has a little something for everyone with Live Music, a Sports Bar, and a Dance Club on multiple levels. Check out the article in OnMilwaukee.com.

Roxie Beane will be opening the night at 9 pm with her own brand of funky, acoustic covers. She will be followed by the Peter Saia band featuring John Pesch. Then Hounds Tooth will take the stage with our Soul Rockin' Blues - music you can really get out and dance to. Speaking of dancing the ladies from Zephyranthes Tribal Bellydance will be performing with us again. They were a big hit in April at our show at the Up & Under. So come on out for a great night of Beane, Blues, and Bellydancing. Cover charge is $6 and the show starts at 9 pm.

St. Roberts Fair - June 7th and Tickets for Show with Dave Weld

Thanks to everyone who came out to the Milwaukee Ale-House on Saturday and rocked out with us. It was great having special guests Ellen Winters and Reverend Raven up on-stage with us.

On June 7th at 5 pm we will be performing at the St. Robert's Fair in Shorewood (right across from City Market on Capitol). This is a great family-friendly event with some awesome live music.

National Anthem - Miss Jamie Brace will be singing the National Anthem at the Brewers game on June 2nd. Go Jamie! Go Brewers!

Hounds Tooth will be opening up for Chicago Bluesman Dave Weld and The Imperial Flames on Friday, June 27th at the Lil' Downtown Lounge. Dave Weld is the real deal having toured internationally and played at some of the top festivals in the country. Tickets are $6 in advance or $8 at the door. Hounds Tooth at the Milwaukee Ale House - Saturday May 31st

Hounds Tooth returns to the Milwaukee Ale-House on Saturday, May 31st for a high-energy show of Soul Rockin' Blues. The Ale-House won a 2008 WAMI for the Best Live Music Venue. The show kicks off at 9:30 pm.

Thanks to everyone who came out to the Lil' Downtown Lounge last weekend. We had a great crowd of new fans that danced the night away!

Hounds Tooth returns to the Lil' Downtown Lounge along with acoustic opening duo Corporate Angel. The Lil' Downtown Lounge is hosting some of the best in local live blues 4 nights a week and has started to bring in major acts from Chicago. Hounds Tooth, showcasing the dynamic and soulful voice of Miss Jamie Brace, has stormed onto the local scene with their high-energy show of Soul Rockin’ Blues. Miss Jamie captivates an audience as she caresses them intimately with a soulful ballad and then takes them over the edge as she kicks it into high gear with a blues-rock anthem.

With set list rich in classic soul tunes, powerful blues-rock numbers, up-tempo danceable songs, and original music, Hounds Tooth’s Soul Rockin' Blues appeals to a wide range of audiences. You will find Hounds Tooth rocking out at clubs like the Milwaukee Ale House and the Up and Under Pub, as well as performing at traditional blues venues like the Paramount Restaurant in historic Grafton.

Miss Jamie Brace was selected as the Best Female Vocalist in the Shepherd Express' Best of Milwaukee 2007 voting.
