Hounds Tooth Blues

Come out August 8th and 9th for Waukesha Blues Festival at Naga-Waukee Park.  Headliners this year include national acts Popa Chubby and Doyle Brahmall.  Ticket prices have been lowered from last year and will go on-sale on May 1st at http://www.waukeshabluesfest.com/. 

Hounds Tooth plays at 2 pm on Saturday opening up for national act Bryan Lee at 3 pm.

Award Winning Milwaukee Female Vocalists Ellen Winters and Jamie Brace come together for a great night of jazz and blues at one of Milwaukee's best known live jazz venues - Caroline's. Milwaukee jazz fans love Caroline's for its laid back yet classy ambience. Both regional and national acts grace the large stage – past performers have included such notables as the Count Basie Band, the Dinah Washington Band, Julie Wood, Manty Ellis, Paul Spencer Band, Sam Kidd, and Adekola.

This will be a smoke-free show and tickets are $5 in advance and $7 at the door.

Special guest Roxie Beane opens the show up at 9:30 pm with her own brand of funky acoustic rock covers.  Those of you who caught Roxie Beane at our last Up & Under show loved her and demanded that we bring her back.

Hounds Tooth makes it's debut at The World's Largest Music Festival. We will be on the Potawatomi Stage which is a fully covered for both the band and audience. We look forward to performing our Soul Rockin' Blues for you.

Dean's Milk & Ice Cream, Sentry Foods and TODAY'S TMJ4 Children's Fest Day is Monday, June 30. All patrons arriving between Noon and 3:00 pm will be admitted free! Spend a fun-filled day with the family enjoying free Children's Fest activities including the Map of Fun and Family Ticket Package giveaways at 3:15 pm at the Sentry SportsZone. Select food vendors will offer discounts on food & beverage items. Stop by the Dean's Milk & Ice Cream truck next to the Elizabeth "Bo" Black Children's Fountain and purchase a Dean's Milk Chug to benefit Children's Hospital of Wisconsin.

Milwaukee's hottest new nightspot is an excellent place for a night of Soul Rockin' Blues.  This upscale venue will hold over 400 people for live music.   Liquor Sweets also features a Sports Bar and brand new Dance Club.  Check out the article in OnMilwaukee.com. Roxie Beane will kick of the night at 9pm with her own brand of funky acoustice covers.  She will be followed by the Peter Saia Band.

Additionally, Zephyranthes Tribal Bellydance troupe will be performing with us again. These ladies were a big hit at our April gig at the Up & Under.  Check them out at the April show.

Come out to the Lil' Downtown Lounge, a newly remodeled venue in West Allis. Enjoy the lit glass-top bar and listen to the Soul Rockin' Blues of Hounds Tooth. We always have a great crowd here and have a lot of fun with the owners Sam and Michelle.

The acoustic duo Corporate Angel will open up for us.
