The Golf Farm is easy to get to and centrally located on the East side of Route 12 Just a mile south of Hwy 120 in Volo, Illinois and Just North of Hwy 176 in Wauconda, Illinois. | Hounds Tooth will be playing in the tent starting at 1:30 pm between some of the biggest names in blues including Debbie Davies, Shaun Murphy, and Eric Sardinas at the 13th Annual Prairie Dog Blues Festival. Folks, there's a lot of blues festivals out there. Why do people keep coming back from all over the U.S. to the Prairie Dog? It's one of the most laid back festivals out there. The Festival is held on historic St. Feriole Island, right on the Mississippi River and nestled between jagged cliffs and green hills untouched by the Ice Age! Great food and beer. Vendors selling hand-made products and camping right on site. Motel shuttles run to all motels in town. | |||

Hounds Tooth is throwing a party on Saturday at The Painted Parrot to celebrate the release of it's new CD, Soul Rockin. Soul Rockin has been receiving some nice reviews by blues societies and DJs throughout the Midwest and some exposure nationally. The CD even briefly climbed onto the national charts at #41 on the Roots Music Report Top 50 Blues Albums (5/21/10). There will be special prizes at the CD Release Party and we will be revealing who's legs are on the cover of the CD. There has been a lot of speculation about those legs....with some people even suggesting that it is possibly a band member wearing those tights and high-heels. Also this is PARTY!
